The Only Trait of a Leader moves in at InfoWorld

The fine folks at InfoWorld have invited me to host a blog on leadership and career development skills for IT. It’s called “Leading from the Trenches”, and you can find it at http://weblog.infoworld.com/leadtrenches/ or from the link in the press section of the sidebar.

From the first post:

Throughout the week I’ll point to articles around the web—on blogs and at news sites—that will help us develop these skills and highlight their use (or abuse) throughout the world of IT. And a couple times a week I’ll post a longer form article with tips and techniques gained from my own experience over the years.

So far I’ve just focused on the long form articles like you find on this site, but starting Monday I’ll be pointing to, and commenting on, news from the IT press where it points to concepts that can help us develop better career and leadership skills.

I’m looking forward to the new gig: check it out if you get a chance.
